With a record 329 not out in January at the SCG against India, Clarke's impressive form continued throughout the year. He also hit 210 in the fourth Test at Adelaide before putting South Africa to the sword. In the first Test against the Proteas in Brisbane last week, the skipper stole the show as he racked up 259 not out - while another mammoth score is now on the cards. And the show is far from over though; with more Tests still to come this year, against South Africa and Sri Lanka, Clarke knows what he must do if he is to continue this remarkable form. After being at the top of his game for the past year, it would be easy to become complacent yet, being the player and leader that he is, Clarke will not settle for adequate and will continue to strive for better, in both his team and himself.
