So we did it!
Three solid team performances enabled us to claim a 3-0 one-day series win over South Africa. Along with the team victories there were some great personal achievements too.
Both Heather Knight and Georgia Elwiss picked up their first international wickets, Lydia Greenway, Arran Brindle and Lottie Edwards all hit centuries and Lottie also made her 150th appearance for England.
It's been a great experience for me to watch these world class players bat and to have to opportunity to bat up front with them.
Since the first few days of the tour here in Potchefstroom the weather has been ridiculously hot with temperatures topping 37 degrees in the last game.
It's been a challenge playing in the heat but a good thing for us to get use to ahead of the ICC T20 in Sri Lanka next year.
We've had quite a busy schedule since we've been out here so we haven't had a lot of time to do much outside the sports village.
A few of us did get as far as the local shopping mall one afternoon but were rather disappointed by the selection of shops.
Last night a few of us spent some time with our families that have travelled out here to watch us play.
It was really nice to see my dad and the BBQ we went to was amazing - true South African style with lots of meat.
So after a successful one day international series we are now fully focused on the Twenty20's and will be looking to continue playing our best cricket as the series gets underway at Senwes Park on Thursday.
