World Cup: Prosper Utseya named in Zimbabwe squad despite ICC restrictions on his bowling

Zimbabwe have included Prosper Utseya in their 15-man squad for the World Cup despite the International Cricket Council placing restrictions on his bowling.

Spinner Utseya was suspended last year while the ICC reviewed his action, and although he has been cleared to play, he can only bowl medium-pacers and not his favoured off-spin.

Opening batsman Vusi Sibanda has, however, been left out of new coach Dav Whatmore's final squad for the tournament in Australia and New Zealand which starts next month.

Sibanda has been dropped after an extended run of poor form, with his last half-century in one-day cricket coming back in 2013, with Stuart Matsikenyeri called out of retirement to replace him.

Batsman Sean Williams has been recalled following his fallout with former coach Stephen Mangongo.

Mangongo was fired last month and replaced by former Sri Lanka and Bangladesh coach Whatmore on a short-term deal.
