Australia's Michael Hussey described his incredible and match-winning 60 from just 24 balls against Pakistan in the ICC World Twenty20 semi-final as "the best feeling you can have".
"By the end (the plan) was just swing as hard as I could through every ball and try to take advantage of the strong wind that was blowing (towards the leg side) and a relatively short boundary. I can't believe it, it's one of the best feelings of my career."
Michael Hussey Quotes of the week
With his country chasing 192 but struggling at 105 for five when he replaced brother David at the crease in the 13th over, the elder Hussey launched six sixes, as Australia successfully chased down the holders' total of 191 for 6.
Hussey said: "This game of cricket just keeps amazing me every day.
"By the end (the plan) was just swing as hard as I could through every ball and try to take advantage of the strong wind that was blowing (towards the leg side) and a relatively short boundary. I can't believe it, it's one of the best feelings of my career."
Hussey also paid tribute to Cameron White, whose fine 43 from 31 balls was a key supporting role in Australia's win.
Husey added: "Cameron has batted really well all tournament, we needed someone to change the momentum and he did that really well.
"It's the best feeling you can have, to hit the winning runs for your country, and all the more so to do it in a semi-final and get your team into the grand final."
Australia captain Michael Clarke said: "This gentleman here, Michael Hussey, is just an absolute freak. He and Cameron White were just amazing."
Pakistan had posted an imposing 191 for six in their 20 overs, and Clarke added: "Pakistan probably got 15-20 runs too many on the board and it was always going to be difficult to chase But Brad Haddin and Shane Watson played well up top.
"Once Cameron was out it was very difficult but with Michael Hussey at the crease, anything can happen.
Any total
"(We just gave them) the freedom to play their way, with the batting we've got we can chase any total. We've got the depth, we've got the batting and we showed that again."
England await in Sunday's final in Bridgetown and Clarke continued: "I can't wait to get to Barbados but we'll enjoy our celebrations - I don't want to forget this win too quickly."
Opposite number Shahid Afridi's disbelief was evident. He said: "We got a very good total on the board.
"Salman Butt (32) and Kamran Akmal really started well and the way Umar Akmal played was amazing, he gave us a boost to play some really good cricket.
Mature
"But the way Cameron White and Hussey played, it was a very good and mature innings."
And he had words of consolation for spinner Ajmal, who had taken 1 for 21 in three tidy overs before the dramatic finale, when he conceded 23 in five balls.
"In the last over, it's not easy," Afridi added. "Saeed Ajmal had performed well and I thought he could manage it."
