Sri Lanka have appointed former Surrey coach Chris Adams to act as a consultant on their tour of England - when he will go up against with former colleague Peter Moores.
Adams, who lost his job at Surrey last year, and new England coach Moores worked together at Sussex.
Adams was Sussex captain and Moores the coach when they won the county championship for the first time in 2003.
Moores, subsequently also a championship winner with Lancashire, was reappointed as England coach last week - having previously held that position between 2007 and 2009.
Sri Lanka Cricket announced Adams' new role on its official Twitter account on Monday - in a statement which also confirmed Marvan Atapattu as coach for the forthcoming series against England and South Africa.
It read: "The executive committee further approved the recommendation made by SLC's chairman cricket committee, chairman selection committee and head of coaching to appoint former Sussex captain and former Surrey coach Chris Adams as a consultant for the upcoming tour of England."
The series with England begins next month.
