The reinstated chief of Pakistan cricket, Zaka Ashraf, has not ruled out keeping Waqar Younis as head coach of the national team.
Waqar's appointment came less than two weeks before Ashraf was handed his job back following a High Court decision in Islamabad at the weekend.
On Saturday, Justice Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi nullified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's decision to sack Ashraf during February and appoint a committee chaired by Najam Sethi to oversee cricketing matters.
But the Court's decision means Sethi's appointments are now ruled null and void - including those of Waqar and Grant Flower as batting coach.
However, Ashraf admits he is yet to decide regarding this matter: "The court judgment says that all decisions in my absence are nullified but I will review them."
During his period at the helm, Sethi made Moin Khan Pakistan's chief selector and Mushtaq Ahmed spin bowling coach.
