Pakistan coach expecting England to hit back hard

Pakistan's interim coach, Mohsin Khan, is expecting England to hit back hard following their humiliating 10-wicket defeat in Dubai earlier this week. Pakistan made the ideal start to the three-Test series as they completely outplayed the tourists to romp to an emphatic opening victory. However, Khan believes England will prove a different proposition in the second Test in Abu Dhabi, but is backing his side to maintain their fine form. "We played like champions in this Test match," he told PakPassion.net. "But this Test match is now over. It's finished, and we move on to our planning and preparation for the Abu Dhabi Test match.

Top team

"We all realise England are a tough team who will come back hard at us - as you would expect from any top team. "But I have a lot of faith in the group of players that are playing for Pakistan - and I keep telling them that if they continue to give 100 percent, play the game in the right spirit and work hard, then they can be a match for any team in the world. "There have been well-documented and unwanted activities involving former Pakistani cricketers a couple of years ago and which spoilt the name of Pakistan cricket and gave the nation of Pakistan a bad name. "Our aim was to turn that around and to provide a boost to the nation and fans of Pakistan cricket and to show the world that there is more to Pakistan cricket than just negatives."
