Ireland crushed Canada by 10 wickets in Dubai to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the World Twenty20 tournament.
Ireland openers Paul Stirling (61no) and William Porterfield (42no) knocked off a modest Canada target of 106-8 in just 9.3 overs.
It was the Irish bowlers who set up victory though as they tore through Canada's middle-order, at one stage claiming 4-17.
Teenage spinner George Dockrell took 3-19 and medium pacer Max Sorensen snared 3-20.
Skipper Porterfield and Stirling, who crashed three sixes in his 32-ball knock, made light work of the chase to progress to Friday's elimination semi-final against the Netherlands.
Ireland must win that game to set up a showdown with either Afghanistan or Namibia to reach the final and book a place at the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka later this year.
