Left-arm spinner Nikita Miller will replace Sunil Narine in the West Indies squad for the World Cup.

Narine withdrew from the tournament earlier this week, citing the need for more time to confidently bowl for sustained periods with his new action.

The Trinidadian's action was deemed to be illegal on two occasions during the Indian Champions League T20 tournament last September.

Miller, 32, has featured in 45 one-day internationals, taking 40 wickets with a best of 4-43 against Zimbabwe.

His last appearance for the West Indies in a one-day international was in March last year against England.
