Kent off-spinner James Tredwell has been awarded an England increment contract for 2013/14.
Tredwell qualified for the award by virtue of playing three one-day internationals and a Twenty20 against Australia and three ODIs and three T20s against West Indies during the current contract period.
Non-contracted players can earn an England increment contract via a points system with five points being awarded for a Test appearance and two for a T20 or ODI appearance.
The increment contract being awarded automatically once the player reaches 20 points during the 12-month contract period.
Tredwell is currently in Bangladesh preparing for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament with England.
