Australia's Adam Voges has backed their one-day batsmen to continue their good form from the ODI series against England when they start their tour of India on Thursday.
Voges was part of the Australia team that struggled in the Champions Trophy before responding by winning the five-match series with England at the end of the Ashes summer and is confident they can follow that up with a good showing on the sub-continent.
"Our one-day batting, I think, has been OK," said the Western Australia batsman.
"I think we played pretty well against England in their conditions and obviously the Champions Trophy didn't go how we would've liked but I thought the way we bounced back against England in England was very good."
Voges believes a run of games with the same line-up has helped the Aussie batsmen but acknowledges a positive start is needed to avoid a repeat of their disappointing Champions Trophy showing.
"We'll take a lot of confidence out of that as a batting group and we've got some continuity I guess with our batters so we know our role. Like I say, a good start for our batting group will be crucial," he added.
