England have named four uncapped players in their 30-man squad for the ICC Champions Trophy in June.
Gary Ballance, Varun Chopra, James Harris and Chris Wright made the cut for the provisional squad that has to be cut to 15 players by 5 May.
England resisted the temptation to call in-form Test wicketkeeper Matt Prior back into the one-day fold, with Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler and Craig Kieswetter providing the options behind the stumps.
Of England's other Performance Squad members Nick Compton, Monty Panesar, Chris Tremlett and Twenty20 specialist Michael Lumb are missing, and there are places for James Taylor and Warwickshire all-rounder Rikki Clarke.
National Selector Geoff Miller said: "This is a balanced squad which will provide the selectors with strong options in all areas and reflects players' performances for both the senior England teams and the England Lions and EPP squads over the winter period.
"With this country hosting the tournament for the first time since 2004, there will be every incentive for England to perform well and we anticipate intense competition for places in our final squad which will be named early next month."
