The West Indies have recalled pace bowler Kemar Roach to their limited-overs squad for the forthcoming series against Bangladesh.

Roach is sitting out the two-Test series after suffering a hamstring injury, but he has been passed fit to feature in the five-match one-day international series and one Twenty20 clash.

"The medical panel of the West Indies Cricket Board has passed Roach as fit to play," a spokesman announced.

Fidel Edwards replaced Roach in the Test squad, but he will return home along with Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Narsingh Deonarine, Kirk Edwards, Assad Fudadin and Denesh Ramdin after this week's second Test.

Roach, Kieran Pollard, Andre Russell, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith and Devon Thomas will join Darren Sammy's one-day squad, with the opening match scheduled for 30 November.

Uncapped left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul has also been included in a 15-man squad after impressing on his Test debut in Dhaka.

West Indies squad: Sammy (capt), Pollard, Best, Darren Bravo, Gayle, Narine, Permaul, Powell, Rampaul, Roach, Russell, Samuels, Simmons, Dwayne Smith, Thomas.
