Brad Haddin is confident Australia can wrap up the one-day series against a "scarred" England on Sunday.

Eoin Morgan's century had put England on course for a first win of a miserable tour, until the James Faulkner-inspired hosts snatched a dramatic one-wicket victory at Brisbane's Gabba on Friday to take a 2-0 lead.

And Haddin believes the unlikely turnaround will allow his merciless team-mates to finish off the job in Sydney, setting up a repeat of their 5-0 Ashes whitewash.

"England won't be feeling well," he said. "We were in a position when England batted, bowled and fielded a lot better than us and we won the game.

"We'll obviously take a lot of confidence out of that leading into this game in Sydney.

"People say winning's a habit and so is losing, and I think that was no more evident than (Friday) night.

"We probably lost wickets at crucial times and didn't close out the game like we should have and no one in our top four went on and got a hundred.

"England did all that but we won the game.

"We're enjoying the cricket that we're playing and we've got a chance at the SCG to close the series out and that's what we'll be looking to do.

"We're hoping after last night we can open a few more scars in Sydney and finish it off. It's a massive achievement if we can do that tomorrow."
