West Indies one-day international captain Dwayne Bravo says a full-strength team will tour South Africa next month.

The West Indies squad recently abandoned a tour of India due to their unhappiness at a payment deal brokered by the WICB (West Indies Cricket Board) and the West Indies Players' Association.

And the WICB is now facing a claim for damages from the Board of Control for Cricket in India worth a minimum sum in the region of £26.2m.

There have been reports suggesting that the dispute over the pay deal was resolved after talks in Trinidad on Friday but there has been no official statement to that effect.

However, according to quotes posted on www.wiplayers.com, Bravo thinks the first-choice West Indian cricketers are ready to face South Africa.

Bravo was speaking at Kingsmead, where he was officially welcomed as the Dolphins’ overseas player for the domestic T20 competition.

And he said: “It's all sorted out and the West Indies are going to be back playing again.

"As far as I know, the best West Indies team will tour South Africa.

"Everyone is available as far as I know and we look forward to trying to give the South African boys a good run.

"It's always going to be tough, but it's good that all the matters are resolved now."

The West Indies are scheduled to play three Tests, three Twenty20 internationals and five one-day internationals in South Africa.
