The one-off Twenty20 international between the West Indies and Bangladesh was abandoned with no result amid torrential rain and high winds at Basseterre.

Bangladesh made 31-0, Anamul Haque with 19 and Tamim Iqbal 11, in the 4.4 overs possible before the heavens opened.

The wind caused problems for groundstaff as they attempted to get the covers on and the floodlights also failed on several occasions, meaning no resumption was possible and play was officially called off after an inspection.
