England's limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan has welcomed the appointment of Trevor Bayliss as the new national coach.
The Australian was this week appointed by the England and Wales Cricket Board with the 52-year-old taking charge of all three forms of the game later in the summer.
This unites Morgan with the man who coached him during his stint with Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.
And the 28-year-old Morgan is looking forward to it, saying: "He keeps things relatively simple and doesn't overcomplicate the game.
"I got to know him really well in Kolkata. His approach mirrors my line of thinking and I'm really looking forward to seeing him again."
Bayliss is due to arrive in England at the end of June ahead of the Ashes opener against Australia on July 8.
Morgan is not a member of England's Test side, so his first involvement with Bayliss is likely to come in the Twenty20 international against Australia on August 31.
