All-rounder Chris Woakes has been called-up to England's one-day international squad for the series in Australia.
England are hoping to salvage some pride following the disastrous Ashes series, with Saturday's fifth Test defeat completing a 5-0 whitewash win for Australia.
Woakes was left out of the original ODI squad which was named last month, but the Warwickshire player is flying out ahead of the first match on Sunday January 12.
The England camp are yet to reveal any fresh injuries, but the inclusion of Woakes adds another option to a misfiring bowling attack, featuring Boyd Rankin and Steven Finn, who have struggled for form in Australia.
The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed his call-up in a tweet which read: "Chris Woakes has been added to the England ODI squad and will join up with the team in Melbourne."
The 24-year-old Woakes made his Test debut against Australia last summer, taking a solitary wicket and scoring 17 not out as England drew the fifth Test at the Oval.
He has not featured in the one-day side since an 86-run defeat by New Zealand in June.
