Steve Harmison would love to see his Durham team-mate Graham Onions selected for the fourth Ashes Test at the Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground.
There is speculation the Onions could earn a place in the side to play on his home ground as England aim to secure a series win, having retained the urn in the wash-out draw at Old Trafford.
Former England bowler Harmison believes Onions would do a good job for England if selected for the Test, which is live on Sky Sports Ashes from Friday.
Harmison, however, admits it might be tough to find a place for his county colleague, with Tim Bresnan's place seemingly the most under threat.
Harmison told Sky Sports: "I'd love to play Graham Onions, don't get me wrong, that's not because of what Graham means to me and I've seen him grow up from a young age.
"But where he fits is a difficult thing. Players must be getting sick of us talking now about who should be playing and who shouldn't be playing and Finn and Bresnan at the start of the series.
"But when Bresnan's come in he's let nobody down and he's done a great job."
