England Lions slumped to their third consecutive 50-over defeat on their Australian tour as they lost by eight wickets to Victoria in their final warm-up match in Melbourne on Wednesday.
Victoria's captain and wicketkeeper Peter Handscomb was in inspired form taking four catches as the Lions were reduced to 18-3.
However, Derbyshire's Gary Balance hit 57 off of 96 balls and captain James Taylor added 31 to steady the ship.
Warwickshire's Rikki Clarke, a late replacement on the tour, added 32 off of 39 balls, including two sixes, but the Lions were all out for 173.
Victoria reached their target with ease as Rob Quiney, who played two Tests against South Africa last year, made 76 off of 87, hitting six fours and two sixes, before being run out by Ben Stokes.
Michael Hill hit an unbeaten 45 as he and Cameron White (14) wrapped the match up with 11 overs to spare.
The Lions now face a five match limited over series against Australia A, beginning in Hobart on Saturday.
