Pakistan paceman Mohammad Talha has been ruled of the final two Tests against England after developing spinal disc problems.
Talha, 23, took four wickets in a warm-up match against England as part of the Pakistan Cricket Board XI but did not feature in the 10-wicket victory in the first Test match.
The Pakistan team confirmed Talha would play not feature in the series and manager Naveed Cheema said the youngster will return home once the pain eases.
"Talha developed back problems and in the MRI scan it was revealed that he has a disc problem and when his pain subsides in the next two to three days he will return home," he said.
It is expected the bowler will require 10 to 12 days rest before he is able to start training again.
