Morgan: back on home soil but leading an England side
England captain Eoin Morgan is expecting Ireland to provide his side with a stern test in Thursday's One Day International in Dublin.
Ireland beat England for the first time in their last meeting in Bangalore during this year's World Cup and a full house is expected for the re-match - the first time that England have played in the Irish capital.
And the game will have added significance for Irishman Morgan, who will be skippering England for the first time against the country of his birth.
He told Sky Sports News: "It is a huge honour and privilige for me to be in the position I'm in at the moment.
"Obviously for this game in particular, a couple of guys have been given a rest and I've stepped in. It is a great opportunity to experience another leadership role in the side that I'm very excited about. I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
As for the challenge presented by Ireland, Morgan added: "We've played Ireland three times in recent times and they have all been very competitive games, games that have been very close, so we certainly aren't taking Ireland for granted.
"The side knows what Ireland are capable of and we know that we will have to go out and play very good cricket to go and beat them."
