Alastair Cook will lead England into Ashes battle at Cardiff aiming to regain the urn he lifted in 2013.
Ahead of the first Investec Test, coverage of which begins at 10am this Wednesday on Sky Sports Ashes, the England captain ran us through his own daily countdown.
Four days out from the series, Cook picked the top four Ashes innings he has played, including a magnificent performance at Brisbane.
