Stuart Broad says it has been a difficult World Cup for England so far and discusses what he needs to do personally and as a team in order to improve.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the fast-bowler said the clean slate that a quarter-final spot would bring is an exciting prospect, but knows the side must first focus on winning their remaining Pool B matches against Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Broad - who has talked up his Nottinghamshire team-mate Alex Hales as a potential saviour to England's batting woes - also gave his thoughts on the following:

- His own performances with the ball.

- His thoughts on the batting records being broken at the World Cup.

- Whether the associate countries should play in the 2019 tournament.
