Sky Bet offer range of T20 markets with Kevin Pietersen 16/1 to be top IPL run scorer

Sky Bet punters are already backing Kevin Pietersen and Aaron Finch to have massive impacts on this summer's T20 scene. Pietersen re-signed for the Delhi Daredevils for £880,000 in the IPL auction just days after agreeing a summer contract with Surrey, while Australian Finch is expected to take the domestic T20 competition by storm after agreeing a deal with Yorkshire. The Leeds-based online bookmaker reacted by launching a series of specials on the respective impacts the star duo will have in their latest ventures. "KP, and to an even larger extent, Finch, are the two of the headline acts on the world T20 scene and will be massive attractions when the new-look NatWest T20 Blast gets under way in May," said Sky Bet cricket trader Damon Blezard. "The decision of the ECB hierarchy to end KP's international career has ensured he will be of massive box office appeal during the summer while Yorkshire have pulled off a massive coup by landing Finch. "We expect them both to rip into the bowling and the record books could well be in danger," he added.

Century

Sky Bet offers 16/1 that Pietersen is top run scorer in the IPL and 2/1 to score most runs for Delhi, who also secured the services of Indian batting star Dinesh Karthik (£1.2 million) and are 6/1 to win the tournament. Punters can also bet on Pietersen's chances of notching a century in the IPL. It is 3/1 he scores one or more tons and 2/9 he fails to reach three figures. Meanwhile Finch, who has savaged the England attack on both sides of the world in recent months, is 11/8 to score most T20 runs for the Tykes and 8/1 to score most runs in the tournament. He is 5/1 to score one or more centuries for the White Rose. Blezard added: "Finch has scored three tons in T20 cricket so far in his career. He scored 156 when he flogged England to all parts at the Rose Bowl last summer and there'll be a few county bowlers trying to work out their plans for where to bowl to him right now."
