Division One

Yorkshire (430) beat Nottinghamshire (224 & 198) by an innings and 8 runs

Yorkshire triumph! Stuart Broad hit a defiant 50 off 42 balls but Notts have been bowled out without managing to make the hosts bat again at Headingley.

Ryan Sidebottom took 4-39 for Yorkshire and Tim Bresnan (2-40) removed Michael Lumb (47), who was the only top order batsman to put up much of a fight.

Earlier, England seamer Broad finished with 7-84 as the hosts were bowled out for 430. Broad removed centurions Andrew Gale (148) and Jack Leaning (110), while Jonny Bairstow fell for 15 to Luke Wood, but Bresnan hit 52 not to take the Yorkshire lead over the 200-run mark.

Worcestershire (385 & 39-1) drew with Middlesex (309 & 362-7 declared)
