Glamorgan are seeking a replacement overseas signing for Dirk Nannes after the Australian was ruled out of their Friends Life t20 campaign.
The veteran seamer suffered a stress fracture of the back during the recent Indian Premier League and is no longer available for Glamorgan.
The 37-year-old is one of the most experienced Twenty20 bowlers in the world and has previously played for Middlesex and Surrey in county cricket.
Glamorgan coach Matthew Mott said: "We were disappointed to hear that Dirk will not be able to join us this season - he is a quality bowler and would have been a valuable addition to our squad.
"We are now considering different replacement options and have already spoken to a number of players."
