Rob Taylor, Ben Raine and Jigar Naik are among eight players to sign new contracts with Leicestershire.

The Foxes have tied down Taylor, who is second in the county's first-class bowling averages this season and has also hit three half-centuries.

Raine has also weighed in with his share of wickets this season, while Naik impressed with his off-spin in limited-overs competition and with the bat in the LV= County Championship.

Left-arm paceman Atif Sheikh, who posed problems for India’s touring team at Grace Road, joins Taylor, Naik, batsman Tom Wells and young spinner Rob Sayer in signing two-year contract extensions.
