Five Leicestershire players have signed new deals with the New Road club.
Josh Cobb, Nathan Buck, Greg Smith, Alex Wyatt and Ned Eckersley have all signed new one-year extensions that keep them at Leicestershire until the end of next season.
Head coach Phil Whitticase said: "I am really pleased that Josh, Nathan, Greg, Ned and Alex have agreed extensions to their contracts.
"It is great news that they have committed their futures to Leicestershire ahead of the new season."
Foxes one-day captain Cobb has scored more than 2,000 first-class runs and over 1,500 in the limited-overs cricket.
Seamer Wyatt made Hampshire's Jimmy Adams the first wicket of the new County Championship season.
Cobb, Buck, Smith and Wyatt are four of 10 current players on the staff who have come through the age-group and/or academy system at Leicestershire.
Chief executive Mike Siddall added: "I am delighted that we have secured these players for at least another season. There is a real buzz around Grace Road at the moment and it is great to see so many home-grown players in the squad."
