Warwickshire to host Derbyshire in opening round of 2013 County Championship games

Warwickshire: Will be defending the LV= County Championship in 2013
Defending champions Warwickshire will begin their 2013 LV= County Championship campaign by hosting newly-promoted Derbyshire at Edgbaston.
The first round of county fixtures begins on Wednesday April 10, when Yorkshire will mark their return to Division One by hosting Sussex at Headingley.
The pick of the Division Two openers sees relegated sides Lancashire and Worcestershire go head-to-head at Old Trafford.
Warwickshire will play MCC in the traditional four-day curtain-raiser to the season under the floodlights in Abu Dhabi starting on March 24, but are back on home soil for the start of the campaign proper.
The Friends Life t20 gets underway on June 26 as 2012 winners Hampshire take on Surrey at the Rose Bowl, with the group stage of the short-format competition dominating the domestic calendar until the end of July.
The 20-over Finals Day returns to Edgbaston on August 17, while the final of the Clydesdale Bank 40 will be held at Lord's on September 21.
In 2013 the 40-over showpiece will not be the last match of the season, however, as there is stil another round of four-day fixtures - starting on September 24 - to go.
Other highlights include Somerset and Worcestershire facing Australia before The Ashes gets underway, while Middlesex will host Yorkshire in the CB 40 at their new Radlett facility on May 27.
