Middlesex fast bowler Gurjit Sandhu has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
The left-arm seamer, 21, has made the breakthrough into the first team this season, making eight appearances having joined the academy in 2012.
Middlesex's Managing Director of Cricket, Angus Fraser, told the club's website: "Gurjit continues to make good progress as a cricketer and we believe he has a bright future ahead of him.
"Being a left-arm bowler he offers something different to our attack and he would have played far more white ball cricket for the 1st XI in 2013 had he not sustained a nasty hamstring injury during the game against Cambridge University at the start of the season.
"Under the guidance of Richard Johnson, Middlesex's Assistant Bowling coach, I am sure further progress will be made in the near future."
