Promotion chasing Hampshire and Worcestershire sit joint top of LV= County Championship Division Two after they were forced to settle for a draw at New Road.
The away side resumed on 31-1 and looked in trouble when they fell to 88-3, still almost 100 shy of Worcestershire's first innings total.
However, an impressive partnership of 149 between Michael Carberry and Glenn Maxwell ensured any worries of an innings defeat were laid to rest. Although the duo were both dismissed before tea, Maxwell for a quickfire 85 and Carberry for a more measured 125, they had made the game safe.

Leicesteshire began the day on 200-9 but any hopes of tail-end resistance were short lived as Alex Wyatt was dismissed by Mark Footitt with just 10 more added to the score, leaving Derbyshire requiring 186 to win.
The opening pair of Borrington and Stephen Moore took the visitors past 100 and by the time Moore fell for 76, caught off the bowling of Robert Taylor, victory seemed all but assured.
Wayne Madsen was the new man in and assisted Borrington in guiding his side to their target shortly after tea to pick up 22 value points and move off the bottom of the table, to be replaced by winless Leicestershire.
Surrey require five more wickets on the final day after Gloucestershire captain Michael Klinger held up their charge towards victory with a century on day three at Bristol.
In-form Australian opener Klinger posted 120 as the home side reached stumps on 274-5 in their second innings, still 240 shy of making Surrey bat again.
The visitors declared at the start of the penultimate day on 626-6 and it was Jason Roy, who had slammed a 55-ball century the previous day, who claimed the key scalp of Klinger after he had defied them for 229 balls.
