Kevin Pietersen is set to start his county cricket season with Surrey in their match against Oxford MCCU at The Parks.
In March, Pietersen negotiated a release from his Indian Premier League contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad to sign a new contract with Surrey.
The three-day match against Oxford MCCU, which starts on April 12, comes ahead of Surrey’s opening County Championship Division Two match against Glamorgan, which gets under way on April 19 at the SWALEC Stadium.
"I think I am going to be playing at Oxford, just to get some overs in my legs,” Pietersen told periscope.tv.
Pietersen has not featured in a County Championship match since 2013.
