England duo Michael Lumb and Chris Tremlett have both agreed deals to join the Sydney Sixers in this winter's Australian KFC T20 Big Bash League.

Lumb returns Down Under for his third season at the Sixers, while Tremlett bolsters a pace attack which already includes Australia pacemen past and present Brett Lee, Mitch Starc and Josh Hazlewood.

Nottinghamshire left-hander Lumb helped the Sixers to the T20 Champions League trophy in 2012, winning the Golden Bat award for the most runs during the tournament.

Both he and Tremlett will be available throughout the Big Bash period, pending selection for the England Ashes and T20 squads throughout the Australian summer.

"I'm delighted to be rejoining the club," said Lumb.

"We have a really strong side and if we play to the best of our best abilities then I see no reason why we can't replicate the success of our first season. That's our target."

Tremlett added: "I'm delighted to be joining the Sydney Sixers for the Big Bash competition in 2013/14.

"It's an amazing opportunity to play for a fantastic team and I look forward to contributing, to what I hope will be, a successful Big Bash campaign."
