Stuart Broad believes Stephen Parry could play a vital part in England's World T20 campaign in Bangladesh later this month.
The 28-year-old Lancashire spinner enjoyed a superb international debut on Sunday taking 3-32 as England beat the West Indies by three wickets, a performance good enough to earn him the man of the match award.
Broad believes the spinner has the right credentials for pitches in Bangladesh where England will open their World T20 campaign on March 22.
And England's ODI skipper said: "He trained with us in Australia a little bit and, looking at Caribbean and Bangladesh decks, it seems to be the left-arm spinners who go into the wicket have more success - rather than the old-school left-arm spinners that go up.
"A bit of research went into it, and I think he looks a good find.
"He was obviously a little bit nervous. But the smile on his face, when I told him he was playing, was what you want to see.
"His style of bowling excites me over the next five weeks."
