Only nine balls were possible on the third day of Leicestershire's County Championship Division Two game against Hampshire at Grace Road.
Hampshire added two more runs to their overnight total of 362-2 in that time, before rain set in and the game was abandoned for the day after a 2pm inspection by umpires Martin Bodenham and Michael Gough.
With the first day completely washed out by the weather, the two sides will now need declarations to have any chance of fashioning a result on the final day.
Leicestershire have yet to win a championship game this season and look likely to be set a challenging runs chase.
Hampshire will start the last day at 364-2 with Liam Dawson on 136 not out and James Vince unbeaten on 147.
Regardless of the result, Leicestershire will finish bottom of Division Two.
