England batsman Jonathan Trott is training again with Warwickshire although no date has yet been decided for his return to action.
The 33-year-old returned home after the first Ashes Test in Brisbane last winter because of a stress-related illness and experienced a repeat of the symptoms when he made his attempted comeback in the first County Championship game of the season in April.
Trott has continued to be involved with Warwickshire in a small capacity since and trained with the squad on Friday with further sessions planned in the near future.
"Trotty had a net on Thursday and he took a full part in practice on Friday," said Warwickshire director of cricket Dougie Brown.
"He's back hitting the ball and he is being integrated into the stuff that we are doing.
"But no timescale has yet been put on when he will play again. He will probably train with us again over the weekend but at this stage he is not in our plans to be playing second team cricket next week."
