DIVISION ONE

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE v YORKSHIRE

17:34: Alex Lees reaches his century for Yorkshire but he is out for 100 from the next ball he faces from Will Gidman. Yorkshire are 215-3 in their reply to Nottinghamshire's 428 all out. Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed for 57. Earlier Alex Hales made it to 236 before Steven Patterson bowled him after a 282-ball knock. Jack Brooks accounted for Vernon Philander for only seven and Tim Bresnan, with his second wicket of the match, polished off Notts.

SUSSEX v WORCESTERSHIRE

17:27: Sachithra Senanayake hits Luke Wells down the ground for four to take Worcestershire past Sussex's total. Worcestershire are currently on 347-8, opening up a narrow two-run lead. Earlier Alexei Kervezee was denied a century with a loose shot on 93 and Richard Oliver earlier scored his maiden Division One century. Steve Magoffin has three wickets while Matt Hobden and Wells have two apiece for Sussex, who made 345 in their first innings.

WARWICKSHIRE v HAMPSHIRE

17:18: Hampshire take a 39-run lead into the second innings at Edgbaston, where Warwickshire have been bowled out for 280 in reply to 319. Tim Ambrose (113) was the anchor of the hosts' batting but found support in short supply with four players registering only single-figure scores. James Tomlinson took 3-53, with Andre Adams, Sean Ervine and Gareth Berg taking two each.

DIVISION TWO

DERBYSHIRE v LANCASHIRE

17:36: Derbyshire are bowled out for 274 as Simon Kerrigan (3-21) mops up the tail. Wes Durston (85) and Billy Godleman (76) were the leading lights for the hosts but they trail Lancashire by 19 runs following the first innings.

ESSEX v KENT

16:57: Essex take the final four Kent second-innings wickets for just 20 runs to limit their tally to 163. Batting mainstay Sam Northeast (77) was the key wicket, and Essex will now chase 193 for victory. Their bowling attack was led by David Masters with 4-45, with Greg Smith snaring a very useful 3-22.

GLAMORGAN v SURREY

16:52: Steve Davies has completed his double-century, registering a career-best 200 from 290 balls, with 23 fours and not a single six. In comes the Surrey declaration, with the score an enormous 563-7. Andy Carter was the pick of the Glamorgan bowling with 4-110 but this has been a gruelling match for the fielders, with Kumar Sangakarra also hitting 149 earlier in the innings. The Glamorgan response has been slow and steady at 52-1 from 20 overs.
