New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum has confirmed that he will play for Glamorgan in this summer's Friends Life t20.

The 32-year-old will link up with the Glamorgan squad when the ICC Champions Trophy concludes at the end of the month.

McCullum was named man of the match in the Black Caps' win over Sri Lanka in Cardiff last Sunday on his 50th one-day international appearance.

"I'm looking forward to joining up with the Glamorgan squad at the end of this month," said McCullum, who has scored 238 runs and taken 41 wickets in his 45 Twenty20 internationals.

"I've spent a bit of time in Cardiff over the past few weeks and have enjoyed playing at the SWALEC Stadium. Spin bowling plays an important role in T20 cricket."

McCullum is the older brother of current New Zealand captain Brendon, who played for Glamorgan in 2006 and scored the county's fastest half-century in Twenty20 cricket from just 18 balls against Worcestershire.
