Pakistan spinner open to playing for England in the future.

Surrey's Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq says that he would play international cricket for England if he was asked. Saqlain returned to the Oval during the winter after playing for County Champions Sussex last season. The 31-year-old has rejoined Surrey as an English qualified player and does not count as an overseas man in their squad for the coming season. Qualified to play for England, Saqlain says that he would represent the Three Lions should he be asked by the ECB. "I love my cricket and I want to play at the highest level," Saqlain told Surrey TV. "If England were to call then I would definitely play. "I was asked this question last year but I wondered about my fitness and my form. But this year I feel much better physically and mentally. "I have discussed it with my family and my elders and they have all said that if I get the chance I should go for it. "Cricket is in my heart, so it does not matter who I play for - I don't want to lose."
