Leicestershire are staring down the barrel of defeat at Grace Road after reaching the close on day two of their encounter with Kent on 110-9 in the second innings - just 59 runs ahead.

Ben Raine is the only player to have provided significant resistance, reaching stumps 30no as Matt Coles, Calum Haggett and Darren Stevens shared nine wickets evenly - five of them through lbw in helpful conditions.

Stevens had earlier top-scored for Kent with 63 as the visitors moved their overnight score of 44-2 to 210 all out.

Ollie Feckingham (3-32) proved his undoing, drawing an edge behind in between claiming Sam Billings and Adam Ball before Charlie Shreck (3-50) cleaned up the tail as Kent lost their last three wickets for just four runs.

Colin Ingram cracked an unbeaten 73 to light up a rain-affected day at Chesterfield as Glamorgan closed day one against Derbyshire on 167-3.

With only 32 overs bowled, the visitors ensured the cricket that was possible was exciting to watch, barrelling along at 5.21 runs per over having been reduced to 10-2 - Jacques Rudolph (1) and Ben Wright (0) both going early.
