The West Indies Cricket Board is seeking ICC assistance in resolving the situation that ended their tour of India.

The WICB are now looking to find a workable solution with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, after a pay dispute with their playing staff ended the October 2014 tour.

As a result five matches which were scheduled to take place– the fifth one day international, a T20 international and three Test matches, were all cancelled.

India reacted by suspending future visits to the Caribbean in February and March 2016, where they were due to play three Tests, five one-dayers and a Twenty20 international.

The BCCI also demanded the WICB paid compensation for pulling out of the October 2014 tour.
