The Chairman of the International Cricket Council is being investigated following allegations of corruption in the Indian Premier League.

The Supreme Court of India has revealed the names of 13 individuals being investigated in the probe, including ICC chief N Srinivasan – arguably the most powerful man in cricket.

Others include IPL Chief Operating Officer Sundar Raman, Chennai Super Kings official Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra.

A court statement read: "We have seen the report and it did suggest some misdemeanour on part of certain individuals. Certain findings recorded by committee are understood to have indicted some individuals whose conduct has been investigated."

The Supreme Court statement follows an investigation led by Justice Mukul-Mudgal into betting-related fixing in the IPL.

In early September, the Supreme Court gave the Mudgal Committee two months to finish its investigation into allegations of spot-fixing and match-fixing in the 2013 IPL.

Last year India fast bowler Sreesanth, plus two Rajasthan Royals players Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan and 11 bookies, were arrested for alleged spot-fixing.
