India leave captain MS Dhoni out of ODI squad to face Sri Lanka

India have left captain MS Dhoni out of the squad to face Sri Lanka in the upcoming ODI series.
It is not clear whether the 33-year-old is unfit or has been purposely rested by selectors but Wriddhiman Saha is the wicket-keeper named in the 15-man party.
Experienced batsman Virat Kohli will skipper the side in Dhoni's absence while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is omitted in favour of fellow seamer Varun Aaron and spinner Ravichandran Ashwin earns a recall.
The Indian authorities hastily arranged the five-match series after the West Indies controversially pulled out of their tour last week.
Fixtures will take place at Cuttack, Kolkata, Ranchi, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad with the dates of the games yet to be announced.
