Pace bowler Steve Magoffin has signed a new one-year contract with Sussex.
The Australian import has impressed in his two seasons with the county, finishing as their leading wicket-taker in 2012 and 2013 and he will be staying at Hove until at least the end of next summer.
Magoffin took 57 wickets in his first County Championship campaign and went six better last year, including some of the best match figures in domestic history in the clash with Somerset when he took an incredible 12-31 in a two-day rout.
He said: "I am delighted that Sussex have asked me to continue at the club for the 2014 season.
"The last two years have been very enjoyable and I hope to continue to perform well for Sussex this coming season."
And captain Ed Joyce is delighted Magoffin is staying around, adding: "It's great news to have Mags around for at least another season.
"He's led our attack brilliantly in four-day cricket in the last couple of years and has been one of the best performers in county cricket over that period as well.
"He is certainly a man in demand so to get his signature for another season is a relief."
