Fast bowler Jamie Harrison has extended his contract at LV= County Championship Division One champions Durham.
The 22-year-old forced his way into the team at the end of August and took 5-31 in his first outing of the season against Surrey.
The left-armer went on to take 3-4 against Nottinghamshire as Paul Collingwood's men wrapped up a third title in six years, and is hoping for more success.
"I am really happy to have extended my time at Durham," he said. "It has been such a successful season for the club and has been a privilege to be part of this team.
"I am looking forward to working hard in the winter and hopefully getting the opportunity to win more games and silverware for Durham CCC in the future."
Durham have also confirmed the signings of 22-year-old wicketkeeper Stuart Poynter and 20-year-old batsman Graham Clark, who both join from MCC Young Cricketers after representing the second XI at Chester-le-Street.
