England have named three uncapped players in their 15-player squad for two women's ODIs and two T20 matches against Pakistan next month.
Natasha Farrant, a 17 year-old left-arm seamer from Kent, Surrey all-rounder Natalie Sciver and Yorkshire keeper Lauren Winfield have all been called up to a squad that is without the injured Katherine Brunt, Holly Colvin and Laura Marsh.
Brunt is out with a foot injury suffered during the Women's World Cup while Colvin is recovering from a fractured thumb sustained playing league cricket. Marsh is unavailable as she continues her rehabilitation from shoulder surgery.
Head of England Women's Cricket Clare Connor said: "We are thrilled to be hosting Pakistan in our first block of summer internationals.
"The ICC Women's World Cup in India in February, with a huge global TV audience, brilliantly showcased the top eight teams in the world and we are delighted to host both Pakistan and Australia in England in the next few months.
"As we embark on a new ICC Women's World Cup cycle, the matches against Pakistan will provide us with valuable opportunity to refresh certain elements of our ODI strategy and to expose a wider pool of players to the international arena."
