Glamorgan batsman Chris Cooke has signed a new contract with the club for the next two seasons.
The South Africa-born 26-year-old is yet to break into the four-day team but he has shown plenty of promise in one-day cricket.
Glamorgan's head of elite performance Matthew Mott said: "This is great news for the club as we prepare for the 2013 season. Chris has made a positive impact during his short career with Glamorgan.
"Having established himself in our one-day sides, we look forward to working with him to continue to develop his career as he pushes for inclusion in our four-day team."
Cooke famously made an dazzling impact on his debut in 2011, during a Friends Life t20 clash - he hit his second, third and fourth balls for the county for six.
He walloped a brilliant 137no against Somerset in last season's Clydesdale Bank 40.
