England all-rounder Stuart Broad is poised to line up against Ireland after returning to practice.
Broad was forced to miss the thrilling World Cup tie with India after suffering his second stomach illness of the tour.
However Broad joined his team-mates for training at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday, taking a full part in fielding drills and also bowling in the nets.
Broad is now likely to reclaim his place from Ajmal Shahzad, who took 0-53 against India.
England team-mate Tim Bresnan said Broad had looked in good shape.
"He's a lot better today," said Bresnan. "I think he'll be keen to get out there and bowl some overs in the nets."
