An upset stomach prevented Stuart Broad participating in England's training session on Saturday but he is expected to be fit to play against India on Sunday.
Andrew Strauss reported Broad, who went down with a similar complaint almost as soon as he arrived on the subcontinent for the World Cup two weeks ago, is again in discomfort.
But the England captain appeared confident, too, that his seam bowler will be recovered in time to face the tournament favourites and co-hosts in the Group B match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
"Stuart Broad is struggling with a bit of a stomach upset today but he should be fully fit tomorrow," said Strauss. "Otherwise everyone is fine."
Broad experienced tummy trouble within hours of England's flight to Dhaka for their two warm-up matches, but was soon fit enough to take a five-wicket haul in each of those two fixtures - against Canada and Pakistan.
He also took the new ball alongside James Anderson in England's opening Group B victory against Holland in Nagpur.
